Posted: 16.07.09 | Created by: Do Something
Some of the world's leading technology companies have partnered with 'Do Something' in the launch of our new Paper-Less Alliance campaign.
Adobe has come on board as the Principal Sponsor of the campaign. Given that Adobe has revolutionised how the world engages with information, we are very proud to have them as the Principal Sponsor of The Paper-Less Alliance. Joining them as Founding Partners for the initiative are Toshiba, Redmap, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Indigo, Sitecore, Gruden and Papercut.
Initiated by Do Something, the aims of the Paper-Less Alliance are to:
-
educate Australian businesses about the efficiency and cost-saving benefits of reducing their paper use
-
significantly reduce the postage bills of Australia's businesses
-
provide solutions, tools and advice that enable businesses to help the environment and their bottom line
-
recruit thousands of Australian businesses of all types to go 'Paper-Less'
-
reduce the use of office paper by 20% within 5 years
-
maximise the amount of office paper being recycled
We have also launched free
software that will enable individuals and business to monitor and review their printing - just one way that we can reduce the amount of paper consumed in Australia.
