- keep up enthusiasm for your 'Paper-Less' campaign.
Read a couple of email introduction samples you could use or modify.
Use the internet to
- create an internal paper reduction webpage or blog
- place newsletters, tips and articles on your intranet
- promote your campaign to customers on your company website
Make up some posters to
- hang around the office to remind staff to reduce office paper
- support specific campaign goals. For example, create a poster that explains how to manually feed letterhead into your printers so mistakes are avoided.
Produce a fact sheet
- read through the paperlessalliance.com.au website and others to learn more about office paper reduction
- create a top 10 tips as an introduction in the e-mails you send out to staff
- place your tips fact sheet on your intranet so that everyone can read it without creating more paper.

When e-mail became popular it was believed to decrease printing, but studies show that it actually causes an average 40% increase in paper consumption at work. In the first of our top ten tips series, we ask "To print or not to print?".

Duplex printing or using both sides of a sheet of paper is one of the best ways to reduce your paper use. While client proposals can't always be printed double-sided, maybe your internal documents or even rough drafts of proposals can. So, next time you go to print a document, stop and think about whether or not you can duplex. Every little bit helps us in our 'Paper-Less' campaign.
