The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s (MPCA) mission is to work with Minnesotans to protect, conserve and improve our environment and enhance our quality of life. It monitors environmental quality, offers technical and financial assistance, and enforces environmental regulations.
One of its key initiatives is to help businesses save money and the environment by reducing office paper usage and promoting the ‘The 3 E’s of Office Paper Reduction: Economical, Environmental, Efficient”.
Americans throw away about 10,000 sheets per person each year. That’s five sheets for every hour worked. MPCA provides tips to offices by taking easy steps to reduce their consumption of paper and increase efficiency at work to save time, money and resources.
The Paper-Less Alliance is very grateful to the MPCA for providing information and materials for the Paper-Less campaign.
